I have collected dozens of dramas, researched through the popularity and storyline, and came up along with the best top 10 dramas we saw in 2019 and are even on aired currently.
01. Meray Pass Tum Ho
Meray Pass Tum Ho, an iconic drama of the season. People went mad for this drama, the outstanding dialogues and the striking movements and gestures of all the actors just took away the heartbeat of people. This drama was a big hit, everywhere on social media, irrespective of age group and gender, everyone was fallen in love with the cast and drama. It was a super hit that the last episode of the drama was played in the theatres. The first time the drama showed the consistency and truthfulness of a man’s love, while how the woman betrays him. The consequences she was overly fed with love, and how and why she got attracted to another man. Ruswae on aired on Ary Digital, is inspired by a true incident, happened a few times back, in the city of Karachi. This drama portrays the story of a girl who gets kidnapped and raped and the things she has to bare within her family, her in-laws, and society. How the whole family and their life gets sudden change, just because their daughter gets raped, how her husband treated her, how she overcame all the things, is an inspiring story. It is a must to watch the drama.

Makafaat is yet another piece of good work on aired on Geo Television network. It does not involve long soaps and dramas, rather it consists of short stories. Each episode having a different story and different characters. This drama by its name Makafaat is to make people aware of Karma. In short, it refers to the proverb “As you sow, so shall you reap.” This drama is purely directed and written for the nourishment of the society, making people aware that we all have to repay according to our deeds. Whether we are talking about the rights of Allah or the rights of humans, we all have to pay for our good and bad deeds. It gives good advice as bad deeds turn into bad results and good deeds proceed to good results, whether slow or fast, one has to pay what he sows.
05. Bikhray Moti
A heart touching story of a family where a father doesn’t support his daughters, no matter the consequences and situation the woman suffers. He was an abusive person to his wife, using his manly powers in the wrong and negative way. He lost his elder daughter in such a way, because she was suffering in the hands of her husband and in-laws, having small kids one after another, and her health wasn’t supporting her at all. And the main story begins after her death, when her sister wanted to bring her nieces and nephews to her home, due to lack of care and attention at their father’s place. And what circumstances were created, that she was allegedly forced by his father to get married to his brother in law, and how she will survive where there is no humanity, love, and care at all.

06. Ishq Zahay e Naseeb
A story of a wealthy man, Sameer who was from a broken family and was brought up by his stepmother. He was very much influenced by his maid, who used to take care of him in his childhood. Sameer went through some traumatic experiences which developed a split personality disorder. Things started to change when he got married under some circumstances to his mother’s caretaker Gohar, who was from a low financial background. She was already involved in Kashif, but Kashif couldn’t support her at that time nor she did, and both with the span of time marry in different places, and had to come across each other’s path once again. Meanwhile, Sameer wanted to come out of his mental disorder, so how Gohar helped him and remain loyal to him, this story is all about creating a split personality, it is a must to watch the drama.

07. Pyaar k Sadqay
A small love story of two small simple, decent, and innocent human beings. Only the difference between their classes, but how their love grows after their unexpected and unplanned marriage. What circumstances it goes through, due to the high pressure of the groom’s stepfather, and his evil eyes on his innocent daughter in law. So this story is encouraging, and showing a deep impact of scolding and forcing a teenager, and how his personality breaks and confidence shatters, as he grows up, how he gets confused with his step father’s commandments and couldn’t cope up properly in his marital life. And the mother who is blindly in love with his second husband and can sense his evil intentions.

A story of ego, attitude, and selfishness. This story has shown a very important side of a personality, and how our attitude, manners, and ego kill his relationship. A daughter grownup in high class, with an excessive amount of her father’s support, in all matters. Apart from making her daughter learn manners, love, and the pleasure of giving. Being the elder child how she behaved when something doesn’t go as she planned. Her attitude made her lose her fiancée, then her brother, and mother whom she was never attached much because she often uses to stop her from ill manners and always tried to make her understand love and compromises. And then her behavior took her to a psychiatrist, she is standing where she has all the finances and power, but she lacks peace.

Ishqiya is currently on aired on Ary Digital, a story of two sisters, their marriage, and life after marriage. This story mainly involves the elder sister, who was involved with an extreme psychopath lover, and due to her sudden arrange marriage, she has to give up on her love and fulfill her parents’ commands, without even telling anyone about her liking. Then how the boyfriend starts blackmailing her, and how smartly he gets to marry her lover’s sister. And then the twist begins, being constantly teased by his ex-boyfriend, hiding things from her husband, sister, and family. And one day finally she reveals all of the things to her husband, and the story reaches a point of how her husband protects her and handles all of the things so intelligently. 10. Yeh Dil Mera
This drama is a suspense and thriller story. It revolves around a girl who is brought up by his father, who loves her a lot and cherishes her and fulfill all her requirements without fail. Due to their bonding and extreme love, they are too attached. Things changed when she meets a boy, whom she gets attracted, and even they both get married. Things changed when she came to know that the boy was taking revenge for his family’s murder, who was killed by his father in law. Strings get connected, how things opened up when the girl realized that his father even killed her mother too, her love for her father didn’t allow her mind to accept all these things, but then how she overcomes and accepts, is a worth watching story.

Inkaar, the name itself explains the story. This drama revolves around rejection, the discomfort a man feels, or he fears rejection. The No of a lady should be accepted positively as a No, without assuming and interpreting your thinking and planning. This story is of a middle-class girl who kept silent due to fear of the family’s respect and social acceptance. Then the two best friends who turned into enemies, due to the bad intentions of one of them for the girl, and the other one who loved her purely. The sufferings of the girl, and her supportive father, is a heart-touching story. The court, laws, lawyers, and even the evidence turn against the girl and that moment how things changed, how she didn’t give up, and how she made the society learn that one should not fear rejection, and we should teach our kids to accept a no and do not consider it has an egoistic issue.
